My name is Ama Bolton and I live in the small city of Wells in the south-west of England.

When I started it in 2012, the blog was mostly about making books … but life is full of other things and they have crept in and stretched themselves in front of the fire too. Poetry is a big part of what I do. Reading it, buying it, writing and encouraging other people’s writing, quite a bit of editing, and recently I’ve helped to select the short-list for a competition.
