The Unseen Web, and other works
Since delivering “Between Two Moons” at the end of August, I’ve made fourteen copies of this micro-pamphlet in “French doors” format (short extract below),
the mycorrhizal savings-bank
gives to the needy
stealthily undergroundtakes from the healthy
repays with interest from
common wealth underground
… edited and made about 60 copies of this anthology (32 poems and stories by 21 writers)
… and ten copies, so far, of this pamphlet
… and finished this king-size quilt Mary and I have been making for an October wedding.
Nearly all the fabrics came from our favourite shop, Midsomer Quilting, who have recently moved to new premises in Chilcompton.
Now for my September poetry news …
My prose-poem Grayhaar was highly commended in the Bradford-on-Avon festival poetry competition. You can read it here. That’s me in the orange dress.
Here’s my 3rd prize poem in the Battered Moons Poetry competition. Two years ago I came third with this poem.
