Borrowed light for National Poetry Day

October 8, 2015

Borrowed light

Warm on my Atlantic mind
sunlight falls tonight

slant from your morning
on the far side of the world

where you write to me
by Pacific light

What a wonderful way to think of that light, as being “borrowed” and passed back and forth! Lovely little poem Ama!

On this day all poets are allowed into the sitting room!!
