September 5, 2015

These photos are from the middle of July, when we got together at the Dove and made handwritten and block-printed lines of text for the outdoor book. It now has a title!

The rest of the photos were taken today. Judy and I varnished the pages,

Judith painted parts of the supporting structure with home-made indigo-blue oil paint

while Jane dyed rope in the indigo vat.

Looking good from the Highlands, arrived today (700 miles away) with you in spirit or pennant!
